I have to say, this movie hold a special place in my heart. I think its brilliant!
Nicholas Angel is the finest cop London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He's so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel's superiors send him to a place where his talents won't be quite so embarrassing - the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford. Once there, he is partnered with the well-meaning but overeager police officer Danny Butterman. The son of amiable Police Chief Frank Butterman, Danny is a huge action movie fan and believes his new big-city partner might just be a real-life "bad boy," and his chance to experience the life of gunfights and car chases he so longs for. Angel is quick to dismiss this as childish fantasy and Danny's puppy-like enthusiasm only adds to Angel's growing frustration. However, as a series of grisly accidents rocks the village, Angel is convinced that Sandford is not what it seems and as the intrigue deepens, Danny's dreams of explosive, high-octane, car-chasing, gunfighting, all-out action seem more and more like a reality. It's time for these small-town cops to break out some big-city justice.
A long summery I know, but I thought I'd get one of the film reviews:D
The Quotes and Lines ALONE make this movie worth watching. Though be warned, contains some gory scenes and lanuage. From the people that were disterbed enough to bring you 'Sean of the Dead' - (Also a brilliant flick)

YOU HAVE TO SEE HOT FUZZ
Sean of the Dead is a great zombie spoof, but personally, I don't like it as much as Hot Fuzz _________________ Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs....

Hot Fuzz was definitely better, they went less for shock value, which I appreciated.
Of course, there are jokes in Hot Fuzz that reference Shaun of the Dead, so for the full experience you've gotta watch both xD
If only they didn't say F every ten words, I'd love to get it off Netflix, but that just wouldn't fly at my house xD _________________

I have it
And if I recall, they didn't use the F word so much, it was mostly British swearing, which was very inventive xD _________________ Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs....

Danny Butterman: Where's the trolley boy?
Nicholas Angel: In the freezer.
Danny Butterman: Did you say "cool off?"
Nicholas Angel: No I didn't say anything...
Danny Butterman: Shame.
Nicholas Angel: Well, there was the part that you missed where I distracted him with the cuddle monkey then i said "play times over" and I hit him in the head with the peace lily.
Danny Butterman: You're off the *****' chain!
(ok, so on double checking, there was a lot of swearing, british and otherwise)
