Wanted

Beware, ye movie-goers. I bring spoilers.

Okay, so I just saw Wanted yesterday. Instead of giving a long, drawn out analysis, I'll just give some statistics and tidbits.

Wanted:
- There are at least 110+ human deaths throughout the movie.
- There are at least 250+ animal deaths throughout the movie, which nearly all occur in a time span of three minutes.
- There are two "intimate" scenes spaced five minutes apart.
- The "F-Word" is used at least thirty times per scene, bringing the entire movie to around 200 uses.
- The longest time between deaths is fifteen minutes.
- The longest time Wesley doesn't have blood on him is ten minutes.
- Wesley breaks the fourth wall at least ten times to insult you.
- There are approximately twenty eight slow-mo segments.

Overall, the movie really only filled my desire for bloodlust and left me hanging in terms of the plot's execution. However, if you like gritty, morbid, action-packed death movies, then Wanted is a must-see.

Lol.  My dad wanted to see this.  I don't think he will now, since he's not really a 'killer thriller' kind of guy.  x3

How do they manage over 250 animal deaths in 3 min? Is a Zoo Bombed? (that's the only thing I could think of) **small voice** I still want to see it, since I do enjoy the occasional mindless action movie....

There's a short scene in the movie where The Repairman mentions to Wesley that one of his father's favorite tricks was to hook explosive wristwatches to rats. So later on when Wesley attempts breaks into The Fraternity's headquarters, he lures a huge hoard of rats into a garbage truck and preps them with the gadgets. He crashes the truck through the gates, the rats get loose, wiggle their way through the building, and explode after their timers go off. Surprisingly, this manages to wipe out most of the assassins inside.
