1. NO sexual content, please.

2. Keep language below PG-13 when possible.

3. Violence is allowed, but keep it around PG-13 or lower.

4. Killing without permission is definitely not cool.

5. No powerplaying (PP) or godmoding (GM). WHATSOEVER. More here

6. Try and keep OOC (Out of Character) chat in the OOC thread.

7. Legendaries have god-like/demigod-like status in the Overcharm world, just as in the Mystery Dungeon games. However, unlike in the games, they don't join teams.

8. No Fake`mon characters.

9. Hybrids/Odd colors sometimes allowed. If you really want one, to be different and all, simply talk to Amz or Am and they'll help you work something out.

10. If you play as a character from the Overcharm comic, please try to stay true to the original...

11. Bios and profiles belong in the designated forum. Don't post them here, please!

12. A character may not have moves or abilities that can't normally be obtained.

Hmm...well, I feel that for hybrids, it's okay, but they'd have to get special permission. That goes for weird colors too, considering if there's a specific poke`mon that a bunch of people want. If they were all generic, then it'd be kind of weird. Even in human society, we may be of a same race, but we're not all going to look exactly the same. As for Fake`mon, I have no clue what those are. x3 So regulars are a given, (and of course, small pelt variations) but anything else would have to gain special mod. permission.

Oh, and this is a given, but some people might try to get away with it:

-No moves/abilities that cannot be obtained regularly are allowed.

I want to give you most of the authority for these boards, Amzer, so if you're okay with hybrids and color variations, they're fine by me.

Fak'emon are made-up species.

And, I think since you're a moderator on this board, you can edit this or other stickies, so you can make additions/clarifications to rules even if I'm not here.

I agree with Amz on that one.

Fakémon are a no-go, though, I agree. If you're not certain whether a Pokémon exists (for example, the "Pikablu" myth about Marril), that's a different case.

Moves that cannot be obtained regularly? I think that sounds fair, though in some cases I can see an exception being made. Nothing comes to my mind immediately, but I know I recently had a discussion with someone about generic moves that some Pokémon can't acquire for some reason. Like a clearly Electric type unable to learn Thundershock. .__. Though I doubt that situation would come up commonly.
What do you think about TM moves? If we're playing as MD parties rather than Trainers and their teams, can we manage some moves that can normally only be learned by HM or TM to be accessible? Like a Chimchar learning Rock Smash, etc?

HM's and TM's are already inside of the game, so I think that's fair. Pokemon are fairly intelligent on their own. Oh, by the way, I just made a few boards concerning Dungeons and Roleplaying in general. Be sure to check them to make sure I covered everything!

Ah, they're already in the game? This is where you see how obviously I haven't played MD before. I'll probably have to read a walkthrough or some fanfiction to pick up on the things I don't know. Unfortunately, until I do that, there isn't much I can offer by way of correction on details because I don't know them.

Don't worry, Am! That's why we work together! There are a few things we have to do before the rp really begins:

-Write Dungeon descriptions with about how much each mission earns you and the average level of the pokemon within it (That takes a ton of research; I could probably finish the whole thing on Thursday/Friday)
-Write a small rubric for when we have to determine exp. points. They'll probably be in incriments of 100's and stuff. I dunno'. ^^; I'll work on it too, but your ideas would be helpful. =3

Anything else you can think of? I'm sure there's a million.

It's about Poke`mon Roleplaying. Roleplaying is where you take on the role of a character and write out what's happening to them.

I guess it's kind of hard to explain. I just kind of learned it on my own. o.o;
