I kinda, recently re-discovered mine.  For those who don't know, it's a DS game (one of the first ones) where you train and take care of virtual puppies.  The graphics are decent (for DS 3-D, anyway...) and the interactivity is pretty neat.

I've got Chihuahua version.  Just one dog, a Boxer named Billy (of Billy and Mandy--I plan to get a Mandy at some point xD).  He's pretty decent at agility, but sucks at frisbee xD

My only gripe (well, other than the spazzy voice interface, which makes the obedience contests BLEEDING IMPOSSIBLE) is the lack of Wi-Fi.  It would be soooo much better if you could go online for contests and such.

that sounds like something I once had.... you remember way back when, like, years ago (look, don't I sound old) when you had those little keychain type thing involving virual pets?

I was gonna try that, but I figured if I'm gonna raise something virtual, it might as well be a pokemon.

Well, there's definitely a reason Pearl and Diamond are the top selling DS games (or were... I wonder how WEWY affected sales?) and Nintendogs can be picked up for 15 bucks at a game shop xD

Giga Pets?  Tamagochi?

Only in that they're both virtual pets.

And demanding.  But at least your Nintendog won't wake you up at 1:30 beeping to be fed.  Nor will it die xD

Then they did their job, and saved yet another dog from kids.

This is true

I think their job was to annoy the heck out of people. I mean, so much beeping, and so many things to do on such a TINY screen.....

it amazes me that I even remember that, it had to have been over 10 years ago..... Very random, but thanks Tyto, for bringing it back Smile

I have Nintendogs!  I go through phases where I take really good care of them everyday for a few days, and then ignore them completely for weeks on end.  Kinda wish I'd stop it though.

They're cute.  I like puppies, and I like video games.  Best of both worlds I think.
