This needs a thread! I say so!

For those who don't know what it's about, it is mostly centered around a boy named Sora. Sora's home is attacked by creatures called Heartless. Heartless are the embodiment of the darkness in people's hearts. Once the darkness takes them over, they lose their heart and are therefore called Heartless. Heartless steal other people's hearts to become stronger and their ultimate goal is the heart of the world they are on. Once they reach that, the world collapses.

So, Sora's home is destroyed. He is saved by a weapon called the Keyblade. He meets up with Donald and Goofy who were to find the Keyblade and then find their King Mickey. They go on a journey to find Mickey and Sora's two lost friends, Riku and Kiari.

So that's the basics of the first game. Don't want to go into too much because of spoilers and because the games are so long it'd take forever to tell the whole story.

The Kingdom Hearts series totally owns my soul. When the second one came out, I played it for like three days with very few breaks. I didn't go to work and I hardly ate at all. It'll probably be worse when the next one comes out. I'm that addicted.

There are three new portable Kingdom Hearts games coming out probably within a year or so. One is called 358/2 Days which is about a character named Roxas and the awesome badies of Organization XIII. Saix in going to be a playable character in that one! (For those who don't know, I'm in love with Saix. He's mine. Back off.) This will be on the Nintendo DS. The next is called Birth by Sleep which will be about three new characters named Terra, Aqua, and Ven. That will be on the PSP, and is the whole reason I bought a PSP. Too bad it'll probably be the last to be released. The last is called Coded which is a puzzle game I think about King Mickey. I don't care about him as much, and it's on cell phones, so I won't get it myself probably.

I was looking forward more to 358/2 Days where it'd have Saix and stuff, but now I'm more excited about Birth by Sleep. Ven looks a lot like Roxas so it's really got me wondering about him and stuff. And it will give us more info on Xehanort/Xemnas.

Long post, sorry. I'm just in a Kingdom Hearts mode right now. I want MORE!!

I've wanted to play those games for ages, but have never had a Playstation or PS2. D8

I'm glad one's coming out for DS, hopefully I'll be able to get it...

Yes! The Kingdom Hearts games are fun. I haven't played more than a total of probably 5 hours among them, but I enjoyed every bit of it! Especially when I went on my friend's file and fought Sephiroth.
